Vintage Design

Rare chairs made of bent plywood (teak), produced in the early 1950s. Designed by Cor Alons in 1949, manufactured by C.den Boer's Meubelfabrieken NV / Gouda.
The chairs were completely reupholstered and covered with an elegant wool fabric from Rohi (Credo). The plywood parts have been cleaned and polished and show minor signs of wear and patina.
The curved, springy backrest combined with the upholstery make the chairs very comfortable.
