Mondo is a graceful ceiling lamp realised by expert artisans in Italy in the late 60s.
The lamp is made of bended wicker, a skilled manufacturing technique. In fact, the rattan is bended through a traditional method called "piegatura a caldo", which consists by the usage of steam which allows the organic material to be delicately bended. Wicker features are: elasticity, flexibility and lightness.
This past wisdom allowed to achieve a remarkable variety of elegant decor pieces, characterised by extreme strength and durability.
The inner shade is made of a cream coloured material similar to paper which creates a warm embracing light once lit up.
This ceiling lamp fits a regular E27 light bulb.
