This is a vintage Meshwani Gazek rug. A Caucasian, woven hall or living room rug, dating to the late 20th century.

Of useful Zaranim size at 108.5 cm x 121 cm - ideal for a doorway or lounge
Artisan handcrafted using traditional skills with minimal wear or fading
Handwoven in delightful red and blue hues with pleasing twill depth
Offers a desirably comfortable underfoot feel
Dressed with short, loose bands of tassels to each end

This is an appealing vintage Meshwani Gazek rug, with attractive colour and useful, near-square proportions. Delivered ready to lay.
