About This Piece

Very nice oil on panel by the Belgian painter tony reniers (1923-2013) titled on the back "à neerpelt" and dated 1987. Signed and dated lower left. Name of the work, date, dimensions and official stamp of the artist on the back. Very good condition. About the painter: he was born in 1923 and died in 2013. Student of lucien hock, he stayed in wezembeek-oppem (near brussels, belgium). Listed in the art guide paul piron. Worked on the one hand as a graphic designer for a large Brussels bank and on the other hand as a painter. Since his retirement in 1984, he is passionate about painting and is extremely productive.
