The company Schröder and Co. was the big competitor of Kaiser and Co., both in Neheim. ESCOLUX was Schröder's brand and just like Kaiser they produced modular desk lamps with parts that could be used with all models. The lamp shown here is Schröder's answer to the Kaiser President. ESCOLUX has emphasized the representative character even more, with the same functionality their lamp has more chrome parts.
The chrome plating on the faceplate and the bottom of the ring has a patina, has flaws and is partly matt. The function of the luminaire is unaffected, all adjustment options are intact and the switch and wiring have been renewed and work perfectly.
