The object's main form is defined by a reworked aluminium ring, initially salvaged from metal-recycling containers. The light is diffused through the semi transparent felt sheet creating a subtle and calming glow in the ambience. Selene is crafted in small batches per demand and is purposed for use in private or public spaces." Studio Lampent is a Sweden based lighting design and artistic studio, founded and driven by Stavros Kotsakis since 2011.
