Contemporary Design

Louis Jobst' U lamp is inspired by architectural features such as archways and pediments. U lamp is composed of simple geometric forms, an arch, a sphere and a cone. Playing with the concept of stacked shapes, the sphere seems to p balance upon the arch and support the cone shade above. Establishing an architecturally animated design.

‘U’ lamps are crafted from raw materials. The color of the polished brass sphere is enriched due to the undertones of the black mild steel base and the ivory linen shade, forming a contrasting but complimentary palette of materials and textures.

U lamps soft linen shade creates a glowing ambient light, its sculptural design is perfect for enhancing a space and creating a focal point in any contemporary space.
