These are the famous Roemer: Rhine wine glasses. The first copies were produced by Karl Fabergé for Tsar Nicholas II for Alsace wines where there are 6 main grape varieties, each color represents a grape. This is why you will always find them in 6 -color garnish.

These lined crystal glasses, entirely made by hand, are made of white crystal, then covered with a layer of colored crystal. It is by cutting them that we find the primary layer of transparent crystal, to enhance the contrast between the deep colors and the magic flicker of the crystal.
