Antique Italian painting from the 19th century. Artwork oil on panel depicting a religious subject, The Death of Joseph, of good pictorial quality. Beautifully sized painting adorned with a carved wooden frame, built with ancient and modern elements, with some small signs of the time. Artwork of great pictorial intensity, the setting chosen by the painter is pleasant, placing the Madonna on the right next to Joseph, Jesus on the left and a winged angel below. Structurally sound panel that has important losses of color and conservative restoration interventions (see photo), to be restored. Sight size H 77 x W 56 cm.
