Ophelia is an original digital photograph realized by Angelo Cricchi in 2008. Hand-signed, dated, numbered by the artist on the back of the photo. The stamp of the photographer is present on the back. The artwork is an edition of 5 specimens and is part of the series ''Gloomy Sunday'' realized by the artist in the 2000s. Edition 5 of 5. Original photograph representing a female figure on the surface of the water in a total blue and cold background. The artwork recalls one of the feminine characters of the drama Amlet (The Tragical History of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark) written by William Shakespeare in the first years of 1600. Ophelia, maddened by the pain caused by Hamlet's rejection and the death of her father, kills herself by throwing herself into a lake. Excellent conditions.
