Horsesis an original work depicted through perfect hatchings with strong strokes. He frequented the Roman artistic environment that revolves around the "trident" between the poles of the Caffè Rosati and Canova in Piazza del Popolo and the Osterie of the "Bottaro" and the "King of friends" around Via Ripetta. He makes friends in particular with the poet Sandro Penna and the sculptors Francesco Coccia and Pietro de Laurentiis.
