This Murano floor lamp from the 1930s is made of glass and brass. It is composed of alternating transparent art glass spheres and brass spheres. The glass ones are the four large transparent glass spheres, of a beautiful glass that almost looks 'submerged'. Beneath the glass spheres are brass discs which follow the curve of the sphere. The big brass spheres are the central ones, while the four smaller ones alternate with those of glass. The base consists of a large square brass box with thick 'submerged' glass on the same square shape. The upper part features a large curved brass disc with a diameter of 60 cm (Inches 24). Inside the dish at the top there are two light bulbs.
