About This Piece

Vintage Design

The artful design of this small coffee table made by Daniel Clément in the 1970s was brought to life with hundreds of carved mirror pieces, arranged to form a tight mosaic. The mosaic is so precise that the design almost seems to have been created through clean scratches on a single glass slab, rather than a mosaic of mirror pieces. Its look seems to marry the shiny opulence of the 1970s with the classic geometry of the Art Deco period. The table is found in a very good vintage condition, with a beautiful patina. Wear consistent with age and use.
