This studio ceramic vase by Jacques blin has his trademark "cave painting" like figures incised and filled with darker glaze. In this instance the figures are a delightful selection of stylised African animals. The base ground glaze of this vase is unusually pale and clear, with greater attention having been paid to the emphasis on the decoration rather than overall surface treatment. The interior is glazes with a translucent pale greenish blue glaze. The base is signed.
