Vintage Design

Attractive Louis XVI wall mirror goldgefasstem carved wood, produced around 1780 in France: narrow rectangular molding groove with as well as Perl - and Kymationreliefrand, sessile and laterally accompanied at the bottom on two supporting legs of a respective stylized laurel branch. The mirror with the most original mirror plate ends with a finial in the form of early classical vignette from two opposing Floralvoluten with laurel branches and central kleinblütrigem floral bouquet, carved out gray staffiertem reason. On the upper sides of the mirror a respective scallop of bundled bay leaves. Size of the mirror: 68 cm x 52 cm condition: good, unrestored, original state, some loss of color and cracks mirror partially with corrosion damage.
