Vintage Design

Very old late 19th century Louis XVI style mirror with its XXL format.
Rectangular format with its mirror composed of a double mirror, typical of the period.
Quite simple rectangular frame with slightly floral patterns and quite graphic framing.
This mirror is very old and there are visible defects in the plaster and the wood making up the frame, some gaps on the interior where the wood has been slightly worm-eaten.
Everything has been nicely re-gilded to unify the whole.
Be careful, the mirror's surface is patinated, you can see defects in it, visible marks, adding to its charm and authenticity.
Also it should be noted that the top mirror does not fit perfectly onto the bottom of the mirror but this does not interfere with the whole thing.
Fully paneled on the back.
