Elegant Louis XVI period chest of drawers in solid walnut.
Beautiful design quality, the thicknesses of the panels and sides are generous.
The front crossbar as well as the feet are trimmed with cha d'elles and gaudrons.
The side rails are cut,
This chest of drawers is surely a wedding gift, the marquetry on the top representing doves in a heart is proof.
The patina is made with beeswax and the interiors are cleaned and glazed.
This piece of furniture has survived the centuries without incident.
Only small restorations were necessary.
