Vintage Design

Large French Gilded Mirror from 1800, carved wood and original leaf gilding. 206 cm high floor mirror ideal for a living room or showroom.

Elegant curved frame in gilded wood with gold leaf embellished along the entire edge with fine beading and carving with geometric motifs, surmounted by a perforated cymatium in lime wood, decorated with carvings with a vegetal motif. This antique floor mirror from the second half of the 19th century is of French origin, comes from a private residence in Milan and is in a good state of conservation. There is only a minimal flaw in the carving, the tip of a leaf on the left of the cymatium and old gilding touches.
