Vintage Design

The meaning of this symbolic column is the eternal passage of time, the sand slips away until it is no longer there, it is a continuous reminder that life is finite and that, therefore, we should make the most of it while we can. But it also serves as an analogy between what is above and what is below and, the need to turn the hourglass to continue the process, symbolizes the continuous cycle between life and death, heaven and earth.
