Original canvas-covered lithograph by Gustave Lorain dating from 1930. Published in illustration in 1930, this lithograph takes up a key symbol of the art nouveau movement: the woman. It is highlighted here through the theme of motherhood. The soft lines and pastel colors add to the tenderness that emanates from it. She was rewarded out of competition with a gold medal awarded by the Society of French Artists.
