Excellent acrylic on contemporary canvas signed by F. Chatelain. Lyrical in composition, there is an explosion of vibrant colors where spherical shapes can be seen that seem to radiate outward in a sensation of movement and energy. All this on a more subtle background in neutral tones, ranging from beige to light gray. This background provides an extraordinary contrast, integrating dynamically into the canvas.
Red, blue, orange and gray are used in the color mix, also creating a certain relief, as the artist applies layers of paint to create texture. The use of these mixed techniques (spatula, impasto) add depth and dimension to the work.
