Set of 4 early 19th swedish mahogany empire dining chairs circa 1820. Good quality set of karl johan period swedish dining chairs. Shaped roundel backs adorned with decorative brass mounts, forming cherubs, wreaths and sun bursts. Standing on tapered legs. Seat covering in good usable condition with minor marks. Minor restorations to woodwork, 3 small losses to metalwork. Strong and sturdy and ready for everyday use.
