Caio Superchi is an artist and craftsman born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, who discovered woodworking at the age of 22 as well as the purpose of his work: Designing forms that exalt function using light, repurposed wood and other materials. Growing up, he was influenced by his father to think about the function of objects and to see beyond that, to see what other things they could become.
