Vintage Design

Designed by Helge Vestergaard Jensen. Rectangular rosewood dining table with three extension leaves. Made circa 1955-1960 by Peder Pedersen. Measures: H 77, W 100, L 150/270 cm. Presented at the Copenhagen Cabinetmaker's Guild Exhibition in 1959. Literature: Grete Jalk [ed]: “40 Years of Danish Furniture Design", vol. 4, ill. pp. 96–97. "It is rare to find pieces which are so obviously the results of close co-operation between designer and cabinetmaker....”.
