Vintage Design

Metaform dining chairs designed by Arnold Merckx for Metaform, 1980s; a metal frame with black saddle leather. The design is characterised by the typical design of the 1980s Memphis style. The condition is still very good with normal signs of use. The leather has been repaired and can therefore last for years again. The repair is hardly visible, see photos. Under the seat, the chairs are marked Metaform, 1989. Dimensions: h x w x d = 80 x 45 x 50.5 cm and the seat height is 44 cm. Marked: Metaform, 1989 (see photos).
