Vintage Design

from the fabled Black Forest, where Germany, Switzerland and France meet, this marvelous carved solid wooden armchair/ hall chair dating form around 1880.
Dating from around 1880 made by a master carver in the highly sought after Black Forest, Gothic, Renaissance Revival style.

Rustic, elegant and richly hand-carved in solid wood, probably lindenwood.

Good condition with a very nice patina of usage during the years.
