About This Piece

Vintage Design

Former workshop furniture or large dresser for the first half of the 20th century.
This piece of furniture is made up of 6 drawers surmounted by shell handles in floral cast iron. Very beautiful details on the drawers. Pretty moldings and cuts on them and on the sides of the furniture, coming to dress the whole in a very refined way.
This piece of furniture has been completely restored, sanded, treated and then protected using a transparent, interior and exterior mat varnish.
It can be seen that this piece of furniture seems to come from a much large business furniture - Large Business Office or Comptoir. As he was done at the time, he seems to have been "cut" in order to make a smaller piece of furniture. Thus one of its sides faces has a plywood part, not very visible.
