Magnificent and ultra rare Arts & Crafts Art Nouveau decorative fire screen. Design by Carel Adolph Lion Cachet. Striking Dutch design from the 1900s. Original solid macassar ebony frame with original stylish textile or fabric. The original textile or fabric is designed by Theo Nieuwenhuis and like Carel Adolph Lion Cachet one of the best Dutch artists who worked in the style Nieuwe Kunst ( Art Nouveau ) which they applied to many different media. This wonderful Arts & Crafts Art Nouveau decorative fire screen by Carel Adolph Lion Cachet is in very good refinished condition with a beautiful patina.
