Vintage Design

Original and rare Viennese Art Nouveau brass Dodekaeder pendant light designed by Adolf Loos, produced ca 1900 by Friedrich Otto Schmidt. It features beautiful facetted cut pentagon glass and four bulb sockets. It is in very good original condition, brass with beautiful patina due to its age. The height of the light itself is cm 35 / 13,78 inch, the length of the chain could be adjusted if necessary. The design of the pendant is the very wellknown so called Pentagondodekaeder by Adolf Loos, a ball made from 12 flat pentagons, made for the famous taylor-shops Knize in Vienna, Paris and Berlin.
