Stunning Art Deco Writing Desk in Book Matched Burl Veneer, Europe, 1930s. This is a wonderful and very stylish art deco desk or writing table in beautiful book matched burl veneer. Great colors and wood grain, beautifully book matched. A true art deco design with use of clean but classic lines and symmetry. Great execution and quality, shows wonderful dovetails on the drawers and great details like the handle at the front. This stunning desk comes in a very original condition with signs of age and use. Like all original veneered pieces from the 1930s this desk shows cracks, missing pieces and scratches in the veneer. Please study the photos. Overall very nice.
