About This Piece

Brooch in 18 karat yellow gold, horse head hallmark. Antique brooch, it represents a coiled snake, delicately chiseled and set on the head of a small round sapphire of an intense blue. The clasp of this snake brooch is a pin with safety hook. A hook is on the back to attach a watch. Weight of the sapphire : 0.09 Carat approximately. Height : 2,2 cm, width : 3,3 cm. Total weight of the jewel : 3,8 g approximately. Authentic antique jewel - french work of the end of the xixth century. Our opinion : a charming antique bestiary jewel.
