18th Century Louis XVI Mahogany, White Marble, and Brass Secretaire

Vintage Design

Secretary Louis XVI mahogany and burl veneer mahogany (lid and doors) with entourage ebony and brass fillets and moldings of brass.
white marble top (accident in the right corner - see photo) surrounded by a brass openwork gallery.
Amounts rounded adorned with plates of brass striated top and inlaid brass flutes.
The lid, wrapped in black leather (changed) discovers an interior beech mesh composed of 5 compartments and 6 small drawers, mahogany front. It is 76cm from the ground.
In the lower part, the two doors open onto a locker and oak chest lockable.
It is based on 4-foot spinner ended with bronze hooves.
The sides are mahogany wire and the back is made of oak.
Louis XVI, XVIII century.
Perfect condition after restoration, stripping, processing and waxed patina. Adjustment key "clover" for the top drawer and lid. Locks in operating condition.
