14k Yellow Gold Drop Earrings with Sapphires and Diamonds, 1980s

About This Piece

These earrings manage to perfectly embody the typical taste of the 70s/80s, with very particular shapes and lines, thus making them iconic vintage jewels. These are dangling earrings, made in such a way as to be very comfortable not only to wear but also to carry. The highest section, the one where we find the closure, has been decorated with a beautiful naturalistic element, which is very reminiscent of a stylized lily; directly connected to it we find instead the pendant part, the longest one, and with a very elegant geometric shape, characterized by a slight asymmetry, obtained thanks to one side which is longer than the opposite one and on which three huit-cut diamonds have been set -huit while at the end of each earring a marquise cut sapphire. The earrings are entirely in 14K yellow gold, and their entire surface has been decorated with a satin effect which increases their charm and beauty.
